About us
Precision Testing S.R.L. is an innovative SME and test facility that deals with official field trials (GEP), agronomic research/testing and introducing innovations in farms.
For companies producing technical inputs (seeds, agrochemicals, biostimulants, fertilizers), Precision Testing proposes a new way of setting up field tests. The "PRECISION TESTING" process, through complex studies, allows to test and to verify the performance of new products in specific agro-environments, which have been previously selected and studied. The outcome for the stakeholders is to receive a data pool and information on their products, tested according to the precision farming purposes.
The Company combines knowledges and technological innovations: to perform agronomic studies and field trials, it uses tools and machinery of precision and digital agriculture. Product applications are georeferenced, at fixed or variable rate, using prescription maps obtained after specific monitoring.
Precision Testing is specialized in monitoring soil, crops, yields and pests, for the identification of homogeneous areas. The team performs field measurements, reads and analyzes the data obtained and integrates them into DSS, app and commercial available software.
By providing a detailed information framework for each field/parcel, Precision Testing’s specialists support farmers for applying precision agriculture techniques and for the integrated pest management.
