Multiplication and varietal maintenance
Precision Testing provides qualified support to seed companies in the maintenance and multiplication of soybean and cereal varieties, from nucleus to commercial seed.
The varieties under maintenance are reproduced at the experimental farm in Ronco all’Adige (VR) or in areas whose soil and climate conditions are suitable for the needs of the cultivated species.
Agronomic management (fertilization, irrigation) and plant protection are carried out, directly or with the support of farms, in compliance with the production specifications required by the customer.
The technicians manage the removal of off-types and relations with the staff of the ENSE.
The harvest is carried out by thoroughly cleaning the machines to avoid contamination and only when the required moisture level is reached. Well-calibrated plot combines ensure the collection of intact and clean seed.
Bagging, handling, and storage of the seed are managed directly with our own equipment.
